The city is also surrounded by exceptional natural landscapes, such as the Monts du Vaucluse and the Rhône. Market and stroll lovers can enjoy the city’s pedestrian streets, especially along the famous Pont d’Avignon. To discover the city, I suggest walking along the ramparts and visiting the Palais des Papes, then heading to Barthelasse Island for a bike ride along the Rhône.
